Miss Sports? Check Out This Pump Packing Competition!
Pump packing is always on our minds. However, the last couple months have been, in a word, challenging. Between the economic issues, social distancing, mask-wearing, constant hand washing, and slow reopening of businesses, life is far from “normal.” There is one thing in particular that most of us have all missed — sports.
Sports is a common subject everyone can relate to, even if they’re supporting different or opposing teams. But according to a recent article from CNN, sports may not return to normal for a year because of COVID-19 and its aftermath. This is what led to SEPCO’s first-ever pump packing competition.
The Pump Packing Competitors
Chuck Tanner, director of market development; Steve Hall, Southeastern regional manager; Mike Evers, plant manager; and Bobby McNeal, braiding manager, vied for the title of fastest and most efficient pump packer. CEO, Chris Wilder, timed the packing competition, and Lori Ditoro, content marketing manager, played host.
