Product Spotlight: SEPCO’s HydraLoad System

SEPCO, Inc. has developed various sealing solutions and products, from compression packing to bearing protection to mechanical seals. Today, we spotlight one of our most unique products, the HydraLoad System.

The HydraLoad System is a shaft-stabilizing, bearing-grade bushing with a removable lantern ring that improves the reliability of the equipment it protects and the ease at which it can be maintained. We’ve developed multiple configurations for use in many applications, many requiring an FDA Title 21 certification.

The features of the HydraLoad Bearing System

Our newest bearing protection development has a low coefficient of friction for reduced power consumption while providing excellent shaft stability and chemical resistance. It also reduces your product dilution and water use by 80%, protecting your product and increasing process efficiency. 

Unlike traditional PTFE-based bushings, the material that composes the HydraLoad system is dimensionally stable, no matter if you choose the solid or split design. This dimensional stability is consistent across its different packing configurations, making it an option for a more reliable protection system than PTFE packing alone.

Cracks and Clogs are a thing of the past

Unlike many traditional bearing designs, the HydraLoad System has a separate lantern ring that can be easily replaced if damage or clogging occurs. Our design makes replacing this integral lantern ring simple and cost-effective and prevents the need to replace the entire bearing system with an expensive total replacement.
