Air Seal Technology Featured in Recent Trade Magazine Industry Brief

Chocolate sealing
An air seal solved the conche-sealing dilemma experienced by the Midwest chocolate producer.

A recent Processing magazine Industry Brief video discussed air seal technology as a preferred solution for a many powder and slurry applications in the food and beverage industry.

This technology has been used in producing products including:

  • Chocolate
  • Animal crackers
  • Seasonings
  • Sugar

In the video, Processing magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, Jesse Osborne, sits down (virtually) with the Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager for SEPCO, David Brewer to discuss the benefits of air sealing technology and recent examples of how this has solved sealing issues for the food and beverage industry.

In the video, Brewer also discusses steel dust management with copper rings and V-set packing in rotary air locks, in addition to air seals.
