SEPCO Team Member Recognized on Media Site for Outstanding Work

SEPCO’s very own Arnita King, who works at a press producing graphite seals, was recently honored as an Industry Person of the Week by Empowering Pumps & Equipment.

What Is the Industry Person of the Week Award?

Companies throughout the industry nominate outstanding members of their teams for this prestigious honor, and a limited number are selected to be featured as Industry Persons of the Week and to move on to be a candidate for the Industry Person of the Year award.

As a part of this recognition, King was featured on the Empowering Pumps & Equipment website in a Q&A and on its social media outlets.

What Made Arnita King Stand Out?

It’s no surprise that King was selected because she is a dedicated member of the production staff and an admired team member for her knowledge, skillset, encouragement, and hard work.

King has been with SEPCO since 1984, when she began her fluid sealing and reliability career aiding in the production of compression packing braiding in the spooling department. After that start, she transferred to the ring department and has been there ever since.

“‘I’m called a floater, and do several jobs in rings including graphite seals, cutting gaskets, and high-volume rings.’ King said. ‘Working in so many different areas within the ring department, I’m never bored. I really look forward to coming to work every day.'”
